At El Remanso, Poniente is where scarlet macaws snack above our expansive hotel pool deck, where endangered monkeys leap into the canyon’s abyss, and where our Poniente rooms are home to rainforest breezes, a private tropical garden, and a blended-in outside shower.

Set amidst our hotel swimming pool and exotic gardens populated by Costa Rica’s most stunning endemic plants, our Poniente rooms offer private garden views. These newly remodeled rooms, paired with stone-walled showers, spacious bathrooms, and independently covered terraces, with natural plant screening for privacy. An outside shower option enables you to take a shower underneath the night sky in the evenings.
